About Glenmore International School
Founders :
Yogdeep Singh Gurung is the Director of the School and a Tea Planter by profession in Darjeeling, India, which produces the world's finest "Darjeeling Orthodox Teas" famous internationally.
His father, uncle and grandfather have served in the Royal British Army and have together witnessed both the World Wars in Europe and in Burma.
Sreejana Gurung his wife, is the Principal of the School and an educationist who has taught at the Loreto College Darjeeling as a Senior Lecturer in History and was also the Head of Department of History at the St. Joseph's School at Siliguri. She has completed her Masters Degree from the University of Delhi and has also undergone training under the British Council.
Vision :
Glenmore International School is Co – Educational School in Mirik. It is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination. Glenmore is committed to build on tradition and prepare global leaders with characters and be well – equipped to face the challenges of the future with confidence and enthusiasm.

Glenmore aims to provide a liberal and diverse environment for students that nurtures creativity and helps them realize their full potential. School aims to engender a culture of continuous "life long learning" through the development of curricula and innovative pedagogy.
