Glenmore's Major concern is the all – round development of the growing child. Academic is followed closely by cultural and sporting activities.

FACT – SHEET

The Junior School comprises from classes Nursery – to Five follow the syllables of the Inter School Board for Anglo – Indian Education.
The subjects that are taught are – English, Mathematics, General Sciences, Second Language ( Nepali / Hindi/ Thai ), Environmental Education, Computer, History and Geography.

CISCE

The CISCE is a board for School education in India which conducts two examinations; one for the Indian Certificate Of Secondary Education ( Class X ) and the other one for the Indian School Certificate ( Class XII)

The Subjects offered at Glenmore for Class X are :

GROUP – I - All subjects are compulsory in this group.

ENGLISH- 1. Literature 2. Language.
History, Civics and Geography – combined paper of all these 3 subjects.
A Second Language – Nepali/ Hindi / Thai ( 1 combined Literature and Language Paper)

GROUP – II

Mathematics – 1 paper
Science – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (With Lab classes in all three)

GROUP – III - Any one of the following

Computer Application – 1 paper
Physical Education – 1 paper with practical work
Home Science
Economic Application.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Classes of Physical training periods are compulsory for each student. We believe in the motto :

"A School, which plays together, stays together"

Inter – House competitions are major School events.

Glenmore also hosts Inter - School Volleyball, Football and TableTennis tournaments. The Annual Sports Day held on 14th November (Children's Day) is a popular and eagerly awaited event.

Physical Education is offered as a subject option for students.

LIBRARY

Library at Glenmore has become the centre of informal education. Library is used for education, information, recreation and inspiration both by students and teachers. Glenmore Library has wide collection of books covering a variety of topics.
